Notice of Modifications
In accordance with section 3(a)(1)(B) of the CC BY 4.0 licence, Susinidu Interactive notes that the original 3D models were modified. Modifications include:
- Mesh orientation, origin re-centering, and scale normalization for interactive WebGL rendering.
- Assembly of discrete tooth elements and the maxilla arch into a unified WebGL scene graph.
- Creation of a clinical crown preparation variant (
Tooth_UL6_Prep) exhibiting occlusal reduction and chamfer margin for simulation purposes. - Custom PBR material assignments (warm ivory enamel, translucent X-ray shaders, emissive endodontic canals).
- Packaging into an uncompressed standard GLB binary format (
dundee_dentition_hero.glb) optimized for low-latency browser streaming.
Educational & Simulation Scope: The 3D interactive dental scenes are independent educational simulation prototypes aligned with publicly available curriculum frameworks (such as the GDC ORE Part 2 Dental Manikin and UCL Eastman mock formats). All assessment scores and rubric criteria presented are illustrative concept demonstrations and do not represent official marks or evaluations by the General Dental Council (GDC).
